In this global role the Director of Diversity and Inclusion will partner with executive leadership, HR team members and other key stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable, data-driven, diversity, equity, and inclusion programs that enhance the employee experience through all stages of the employee life cycle. This is a key role within the company that will be instrumental in fostering an innovative culture that creates a sense of belonging within HID Global that becomes a magnet for talent acquisition and a highlight of our employee value proposition.


What you will be doing

  • Design and implement the company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy.
  • Create and provide leadership to the company’s Diversity Council by ensuring alignment with the  D&I and global HR strategy. Provide guidance and direction in developing, prioritizing, and implementing DE&I initiatives including Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s).
  • Ensure that diversity and inclusion practices are embedded into all stages of the employee life cycle through partnership with HR and business leadership. 
  • Drive employee education programs that reinforce the company’s values and create awareness of desired behaviors.
  • Ensure ROI of initiatives is clearly articulated and tracked
  • Foster a innovative culture that creates a sense of belonging within HID Global that becomes a magnet for talent acquisition and a highlight of our employees value proposition.
  • Develop creative ways to engage our workforce to become stewards of culture with a mindset that values our differences
  • Discover and cultivate external partnership, engagements, and internal commitment programs to provide infrastructure, logistical support, and tracking mechanisms.
  • Develop benchmarking data and best practices, and partner with our HRIS and Data Teams to showcase end to end reporting and insights used internally and externally.
  • Partner with L&D to design and lead organization-wide learning that builds inclusion capabilities for leaders, managers, employees, and teams.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and make inclusion programs consistent globally while balancing the business need for flexibility.
  • Build out of additional tools, content, and offerings for our employees, based on our diversity and inclusion learning strategy.

What we are looking for

  • Experience building a Diversity and inclusion program/function from the ground-up
  • Able to influence and connect with individuals from all backgrounds and at all levels of the organization
  • Apply metrics and data to make sounds business decisions and build business justification for programs and initiatives
  • Able to work through and guide others for effective program delivery
  • Minimimum of 5 years of experience in a global Diversity and Inclusion leadership role
  • Prior experience managing global Diversity and Inclusion initiatives
  • Technology industry experience preferred
  • A deep understanding of the most effective and validated approaches in diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
  • Integrity and high ethical standards
