You will be part of an international team, working to drive the complete marketing mix of the segment, which includes enterprise solutions, products, pricing, positioning, process and other aspects of the go to market strategy.

In addition product marketing owns the product portfolio with regard to what will be offered (breadth and depth of the product line), who the target customers (end user) are, how our products and solutions will be delivered as well as at what price it is offered.

Suitable candidates must have (5-7 years) domain experience in the particular segment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Act as the voice of the customer (partner and end user) to product management and the rest of the organization
•Understanding and driving customer (partner and end user) engagement with our products, solutions and services throughout their lifecycle (incl. pre and post launch/adoption)
•Collecting, analyzing and reporting on needs and trends based on end user and channel surveys as well competitive and industry analysis to provide input to the product roadmap as well driving customer product education to ensure successful engagement. Be the center of competency for market knowledge, sizing and customer profiles
•Manage and coordinate the product validation process for both strategic product developments as well to validate and test product and solution ideas
•Creating the product, solution and services market requirement documents (MRD)
•Lead the NPI process throughout the region to ensure immediate success for new product launches. This includes cross functional implementation as well ROI and NPV analyses on product investments
•Strategize and define decision criteria of prospects, channels and end users to position HID’s products and solutions against competition
•Develop clear and concise segment and geographical market plan, value propositions, road map and go-to-market strategies which include both channel and end users (incl vertical market view)
•Develop launch plans that will provide clear direction to the Marketing Communication and sales organizations in preparing them for a successful product release and quick time to revenue
•Conceive and develop with the internal stakeholders innovative marketing programs (eg campaigns) that drive demand for HID’s offering
•Analyze and understand the longer term market direction and influence external analysts to adopt/value HID Global’s direction
•Monitoring and contributing to industry innovations, standards and associations
•Develop and execute the implementation of a successful product and solution launch program with assets ready that define target markets, positioning, competitive analysis and comparison, collaterals, white papers, training, presentations, pricing and promotion
•Review and report regularly on segment and geographical business performance including revenue, product mix, ASP, cost and margin trends and advice the organization on improvement implementations to drive both growth and profitability
•Generate and implement channel strategies with the sales and marketing organisation, including pricing and discount strategies

Required Knowledge / Experience:

•Minimum 5+ years technical sales, business development or product marketing experience
•Knowledge of physical access control and the security industry desirable.
•Knowledge of contactless RFID credentials, readers and door controller products desirable.
•Ability to conduct and present market research and analysis
•Must have strong written and verbal skills with the ability to lead presentations
•Capable of establishing credibility with sales force and customers
•Should have formal product development process experience

Education and/or Experience
•BS Degree – Engineering or Computer Science
•MBA preferred

Language Skills
•Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
•Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.

Computer Skills
•Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
•Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
•Familiar CRM tools and analysis such as Salesforce.com
