This position offers an excellent opportunity to work as a member of an innovative and high-performance engineering team.  We have a variety of projects that are either in progress or beginning soon that need a motivated technician or an engineering undergraduate student who is good communicator and has a basic understanding of electro-mechanical systems, embedded electrical systems or computer engineering.

 

As an R&D Product Development Technician/ Associate Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to work as part of a team of engineers that solve challenging problems on a project.  The project could range from proof of concept to show a customer something can be done to modifications/alterations to existing products to bring a new feature or capability to the market.  You will play a key role in ordering and receiving existing products, defining, and implementing modifications, testing functionality and even coordinating delivery of products to customers.
 

What you will be doing

  • Receiving products and parts for modification
  • Documenting and understanding steps for product modifications
  • Analysis and troubleshooting of modifications
  • Developing assembly techniques/ processes
  • Applied problem solving
  • Participating in Design reviews
  • Fabrication of prototype assemblies
  • Perform and document product or subassembly tests
  • Coordinate product packaging and shipment to customers

What we are looking for    

  • Grit and passion for learning
  • High school degree with strong aptitude for engineering disciplines
  • 1+ years of undergraduate engineering education (BSME, BSEE, BSCE or equivalent) and or Associate Technical degree
  • Willingness to receive and follow instructions
