This role is responsible for maximizing revenue, growth and profitability for Identity and Access Management Solutions (IAMs) and is fully accountable for the P&L of the business. IAMs is a global Software as a Service organization with over 500 employees located around the world reporting directly or indirectly into the business. The SVP and MD of IAMs will drive the strategy and execution of the organization while building a world class culture to drive future growth.


What you will be doing

  • Full ownership of the business P&L and achieving agreed financial goals related to order intake, sales revenue, profitability and working capital requirements
  • Proactively build the groups Annual Recurring Revenue base through expansion and new customer acquisition
  • Develop, communicate and manage to a clear concise strategic plan for the business segment that includes vision, strategic objectives, tactical roadmap and other necessary keys to success for strategic digital transformation
  • Lead the customer success organization to scale the groups customer journey including on-boarding, adoption, expansion and renewals
  • Lead the product & development teams to expand the build out of the digital platform microservices, ecosystems and service offerings
  • Responsible for understanding the market (buyer, customer, end user) and its needs through the necessary means (market research, consumer insights, etc.) on a global basis including vertical, geographic and segment market needs
  • Identify market opportunities and generate innovative new products, services & solutions to fulfill anticipated market and customer demand
  • Define the business area budget on an annual basis, and provide quarterly forecast updates or as required
  • Measure results of the business against budget and growth opportunities and report out to Executive Team on a monthly basis, and HID Global Board as required
  • Develop Pricing strategies to maintain and grow contribution margins at the Product & Solution level, to maintain a leadership position in the market, and to protect and grow the HID Global value proposition for the business area
  • Partner with fellow business area leaders within HID Global and Assa Abloy, develop relationships, and share goals and achievements for learning and growth, to further enhance and develop the overall HID Global Value Proposition
  • In collaboration with Corporate Development, identify prospective acquisition targets for growth of the business area, and to further enhance the HID Global eco system
  • Build organization bench strength through the development and hiring of talent at all levels of the organization
  • Work closely with functional support groups to assure support and alignment to the business area strategy
  • Take responsibility for cultivating industry level Alliances and Partnerships that ensure the business area obtains necessary visibility, through speaking engagements, association memberships, public relations activities and critical supplier relationships

Who you are

  • Hold a BA or BS in related field
  • At least 10+ years related experience with significant P&L responsibility
  • At least 5+ years leading a SaaS Cloud platform business with rapid customer adoption
  • Experience in Scaled Agile and PI planning
  • Solid understanding of recurring revenue and subscription business models
  • Understanding of market and competitive environment including deal activity and potential opportunities
  • Solid leadership and management experience, including strategic thinking, innovation, coaching and mentoring, scaling and collaboration
