Support and Test Engineer Intern - EasyLobby

HID Global is growing in Krakow (Zabierzów), and we are currently looking for an intern - student for paid 14-week internship in our Physical Access Control System Team to be part of our successful journey.

The Physical Access Control System (PACS) business unit is a leading provider of systems for secure physical access, network login and safeguarding assets. We enable our partners to secure people, data and things through trusted identities, managing access through the authorization or revocation of rights to physical or logical assets within an organization. Our offerings encompass smart cards, readers, mobile access / mobile IDs, location services, controllers for physical access control. All backed up by a professional services capability. Physical Access Control System has prime engineering centres in Krakow, Eden Prairie (US) with additional resources in Cardiff and in many geographies to support our customers.

During the internship you will support EasyLobby team by installing software on virtual machines, documenting and verifying steps to certify Access Control Integrations systems.

 

Requirements:

  • Active student status
  • Availability to work minimum 20h per week, for 14 weeks
  • Very good English, both written and spoken - because you’ll be working in a multinational environment

  • Keeping attention to details, having ability to identify risks
  • Being precise in checking solutions and conscientious reporting
  • Having open mind to learn new tools and work with large IT infrastructure

 

Responsibilities:

  • Setup, upgrade and maintain environments with external software products that EasyLobby integrates with (virtual machines, vSphere, vmWare, or Azure)
  • Test delivered artefacts in existing EasyLobby® products with external systems
  • Cover test scenarios with the use test case management software (TestRail)
  • Participate in Continuous Integration process (Jenkins)
  • Cooperate with other team members in Scrum methodology
