As a Project Manager (PM), you are responsible for organizing programs and handling Identity access management systems projects. You will be working closely with the sales team, project team members, engineering, and product management to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include creating project schedules, maintaining risk register, tracking all milestone deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication and execution plan. Project manager will be overseeing and developing budgets and operation plan for projects with provided funding assigned to project. To succeed in this role a person should have an experience in both project management and team management. Project Manager will work cross-functionally to ensure key decisions on design and software changes are made in timely manner.  PM will proactively identify and manage risks and issues, escalating them, as necessary. As an integral member of the team, PM will contribute to the improvement of project management policies and procedures though Project management practice.
 

What you will be doing

  • Manage multiple concurrent clients facing implementation projects to budget, scope and schedule.
  • Create and execute deployment plans, revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and deployment parameters.  Ensure billable and non-billable customer milestones are met.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Ensure delivery of the baseline project, unless otherwise specified in customer contracts.
  • Coordinate with third party vendors on project execution.
  • Escalate areas of concern early to manage risks.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Contribute to an environment that fosters collaboration and teamwork.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Participate in the Product Roadmap, Feature Request Process, Gate Meetings, etc. to adequately represent the needs of your project(s) and to stay abreast of changes.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and internal / external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal resources and work with/manage third parties/vendors.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/ vendors / partners.
  • Plans, monitors, and reports on project status and performance data to management and stakeholders.
  • Identifies potential stakeholder conflicts and facilitates resolution.
  • Understand and manage project risks and issues and escalate in a clear and timely manner.
  • Establish an environment of trust and candor, promoting accountability, and assertiveness.
  • Prepare and track post go live issues to ensure a successful stabilization phase.

Who you are

  • Background in software application deployment projects.
  • 7 years of experience in Professional Services project management,
  • 5 years of experience with agile and scrum methodologies
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in client facing enterprise software project delivery. 
  • Ability to interact with senior and executive management internally / externally.
  • Understanding of enterprise software development life cycle, including SQA processes and release management is a plus.
  • Experience using JIRA and other PM tools (MS project, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience with technical project delivery in one or more of the following areas: application modernization, system integration, digital transformation, or custom development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline. Candidates with equivalent education plus relevant work experience may also be considered.
  • PMP/PRINCE2 Certification is a plus
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Experience and ability to work within an Agile framework.
