The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Digital Product Designer to join our Access Control Systems team. The Sr. Product Designer will lead the design of the HID Origo cloud platform web and mobile app experience.  The designer in this role will report to our Sr. Director of User Experience, immersed in exciting cutting-edge technologies and a stimulating design thinking culture.

As a Sr. Product Designer on the Global Design Team, you will relentlessly advocate for the user, create elegant and simple experiences focused on users’ needs, help define our customer journeys and establish an inclusive design approach. You will lead the experience strategy of new products and services, be accountable for the design execution, negotiate design choices with leadership and stakeholders, and mentor junior designers as needed.


What we are looking for

The ideal candidate would have a BA/BS degree in Design, Human-Computer Interactions (HCI) with 5+ years of experience in product designer role and at least 7 years of professional work experience.


Candidates’ background should include strong domain knowledge in enterprise UX, and a strong portfolio focused on user centric product design. We seek candidates fluent in user experience best practices and trends, familiar with at least one UI framework (e.g., React) and experience integrating user research feedback in their work. We work within an scaled agile framework, so familiarity with agile tools and ceremonies is a plus.
