The Position:

  • The Sales Director for TSL will drive Global business development strategy and sales efforts as well as strategic alliances with key ecosystem providers for HID’s handheld reader line in close cooperation with our RFID tag business.
  • You will work to pro-actively managing and grow sales via the existing Distribution and System Integration partners. You will securing additional business by actively selling the TSL portfolio and carry a quota. As well as working to support the regional HID sales teams with training, templates, and individual guidance in TSL related projects.
  • You will provide support to assigned accounts and distributors by preparing, managing, and executing development plans.
  • Grow a pipeline of new business while developing new opportunities in current accounts
  • Develop joint sales and marketing strategies with the resellers that enable them to meet their objective and include the successful introduction of new products, including pricing programs and promotion activities.
  • Collaborate with HID leadership, regional sales, product management, and marketing to suggest and implement opportunities for growth.
  • Accurately forecast sales pipeline and close business against defined quota (personal and for TSL business overall including regional teams).
  • Representing the company at trade shows and events and to partners and analysts including the preparation and execution of speaking sessions.
  • Provide competitive analytics for current and future requirements to the regional sales managers and other interested parties.

Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum 3 years B2B enterprise sales experience and 2 years RFID experience required for this role. Complex sales methodology training is desirable.
  • An understanding of RFID technologies with a focus on the RFID reader and tag business, including technical understanding of LF, HF, UHF, BLE.
  • Experience in selling into Distributors, VARs and Integrators.
  • Experience developing Strategic Alliance programs and/or have experience managing market-based Strategic Alliances with key strategic partners preferred. 
  • Sales or technical sales degree or equivalent education plus relevant industry experience.

 

Location

  • TSL is based in the UK.  The position location is flexible and can be done remotely.

 

Work requirements

  • Up to 30% travel and fieldwork
